Where They Lived - The Caddo lived in the forests of the Coastal Plains. How Did They Get Their Food - Since it rains so much in the Coastal Plains, this is a great place to farm for food. The Caddo farmed many crops, such as squash, beans, corn, pumpkins and zucchini. They would also hunt for small local animals if they came across them. Homes - The Caddos built large, dome-shaped houses that were made out of grass and sticks. Caddo Clothing - They wore dresses and pants and shoes that were made out of animal skin, mainly deer skin.
